Celebrate Broadway’s coming return with your fellow Broadway fanatics!! Sunday, July 25, 2021 beginning at 4pm EST, don’t miss your opportunity to shop and connect with many of these insanely talented and creative theatrical vendors with Places Please: Broadway’s Back!
Featuring many members of the Broadway Makers Alliance, a collection of theatre loving creatives who own arts-based small businesses, this one night only, virtual shopping experience is a celebration of the art form we all love and a one-stop destination for all of the latest Broadway gifts and theatrical souvenirs using the Booth Central online platform.
Broadway Up Close’s Tim Dolan will guide fans through the marketplace along with special guest podcasters Rye the News Guy and Beltline to Broadway’s Lauren Van Hemert. Fans will be able to journey through the virtual marketplace and can engage with each vendor for a personalized one-on-one shopping experience. Patrons can meet the makers behind their favorite fandom items to discuss how they were made, their love for Broadway through the chat function, or even meet face-to-face with the video feature.
“We wanted to create a place where theatre fans could shop for Broadway themed items made by all the talented makers and vendors” says Andrea Koehler founder of Coloring Broadway & the Broadway Makers Alliance. “Part of the joy of being a vendor is getting to talk to the fans, share their joy, see their reactions and just talk all things theatre” says Michael T. Clarkston Executive Producer and owner of Broadway Bazaar.
Broadway vendors include Broadway Bazaar, Broadway Boxed Up, Broadway Dolls & Guys, Broadway Husbands, Broadway Memories, Broadway Up Close, Coloring Broadway, First Fittings, Ghostlight Jewelry, reDesign Broadway, Stagedoor Boxes, Stagedoor Candles, and Triple Threat Planner with additional vendors and special guests to be announced in the coming weeks.
This free event is possible through the generous support from Booth Central, Broadway Bazaar, Broadway Makers Alliance, Daily Broadway and Theatrely. The event is executive produced by Michael T. Clarkston and Andrea Koehler.
